TORNUM’S FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM

Tornum’s fire detection system prevents possible fires in the dryer from spreading and also permits an automatic alarm directly to the rescue services.

The system consists of a cable fitted inside the dryer and an electronic box positioned on the outside. The cable is sensitive to high temperatures and when it melts, the whole system shuts down and an alarm can be triggered.
