Peter Karlsson conducts an integrated slaughter pig production with his own feed preparation.

Existing plant has been supplemented with new drying equipment consisting of:

• Tornum dual batchdryer 2×42,5m³
• Haga hot air furnace 640kW
• 27m³ intake pit
• 100 tons intake storge
• Storagesilo 1800m³

An important part of the investment is to rationalize the work of moving feed grain from the old plant to feed kitchen. So far, this work has been done with tractor transport, but will in the future be done by automatic transport from the new plant to the feed preparation. Great emphasis has been placed on planning for future needs.

2017-03-01 Picture of the old plant with existing storage silo. The new drying plant will be built in a completely new location on the farm to enable communication with the feed kitchen.

2017-04-18 Molding, reinforcement and sealing of walls. An important point in the basic work is sealing between the wall and the bottom plate and the safest way to get the construction waterproof is to cast.
